Request For Candidates

The Annual Meeting of the Membership for your Association will be held in August 2025 for the purpose of electing a Board of Directors.  You will receive an official meeting notice specifying the actual date, time and location.

At this time we are requesting candidates for the Board of Directors.  The Board consists of Seven (7) members who are elected by the membership.  There are seven (7) positions up for election, four (4) directors for two-year terms and three (3) directors for a one-year term.  The elected Board members will then meet and appoint officers, therefore, candidates will run for a position on the Board only, and not a particular office.

Qualifications to run for the Board of Directors:

  1. Must be an Owner.
  2. Must be current in the payment of all regular and special assessments.
  3. May not hold a joint ownership interest in the same separate interest as any other candidate or incumbent director.
  4. Must have been a member of the association for at least one year.
  5. The Candidate is not eligible to run if the Association is aware or becomes aware of a past criminal conviction that would, if the Candidate were elected, either prevent the Association from purchasing the fidelity bond coverage required by Civil Code §5806 or terminate the Association’s existing fidelity bond coverage.

The Board of Directors meets in the evening every month to conduct the business of the Association.  The meetings can last 2-3 hours.  There may be other business to be handled between meetings that may require a Special Meeting of the Board, which could mean additional time commitments.

If you are interested in running for the Board, please contact Action Property Management.  CANDIDATE STATEMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO 5:00 PM, JUNE 6, 2025, IN ORDER TO BE INCLUDED ON THE BALLOT.

Living in a HOA Community

We understand that everyone has a busy schedule with work, school, kids sports, etc. We hope that everyone can take a moment to help our community look good to passerby’s and continue to hold the marketability of our units.

Please take a moment for the following:

  • Please do not store mops, broom or cleaning items visible to the common area. If these items are within your patio or balcony area, please place in a way not visible to those walking by. Units have storage closets where these items should be kept.
  • Residents are required to clean their landings and front entry area. Please sweep/mop these areas on a regular basis.
  • Trash- please refrain from overfilling the dumpsters. If a dumpsters is too full please check the nearest one. Odds are the others are pretty empty. Remember if dumpsters are overfilled, there are additional charges assessed to the association meaning each of you. Help keep cost down by not overfilling the dumpster.
  • Items should not be stored within the patio/balcony areas. Please refrain from the storage of items.

Are you aware the City of Pomona has a Quality of Life Unit?

Homeless Encampment Action Response Team (HEART)

The Homeless Encampment Action Response Team (HEART) is comprised of two Officers who assist Pomona Public Works Professionals who respond to various locations within the City of Pomona affected by illegal encampments and reoccurring homeless issues. The HEART program operates seven days a week. Additionally, there are eight Pomona Police Officers, one from each patrol squad, who are Homeless Liaisons and act as an extension of the HEART Team to ensure the City of Pomona receives around the clock coverage.

How do I request the HEART Team to respond to my location?

The best way to request the HEART Team is by sending an email to qualitylife@pomonaca.gov. The entire HEART Team monitors this email account and requests are usually handled the same day or next day. Please be as specific as you can as to exactly where the encampment is located and a general description of the items if possible. If you do not have, access to email you can leave a message at 909-620-2328.

Here are a few highlights from the last meeting.

  1. Roof Replacement- Is well underway and will be concluding within the next couple of weeks.
  2. The Board of Directors reviewed new Patrol Proposals and decided to remain with the current service provider. ISMG includes the parking permit program as well as the parking inspections with the monthly contract. Others were offering an increased cost for monthly service and additional cost for parking permits and garage inspections.
